Sad times...

Hello Faithful readers

As you can tell have i not been around for a while,

there are many reasons why, but the biggest is probably sleep depravation and being super tired so when nightfall comes or when            any moment comes that i get to have some downtime i just either sleep or do nothing...

Doing a blogpost just required too much energy and i just didn't have that extra energy to give, i did think of you all a lot but i just couldn't write...

So anyway the other sad sad occurrence in my life was the passing of our family pet...

We got Sparkey when we first got to Australia and he was a very significant and important part of our lives, we had the boy for 14years from 25th of February 2000 till the 25th of february 2014 and we had to put him down due to old age, pain and not being able to walk anymore, that was only a few days ago...
He was such a special dog, almost not like a dog at all, more like an Angel in fur.
The boy never weed in the house from the day he as born till the day he died even though he couldn't walk in the end.
He was such a HUGE part of the family and has left a HUGE hole is many lives...

This is a photo of Sparkey on the way to the vet on his last day, so super heart breaking.

So Since Sparkey died and a little before that i really fell off the health wagon, i have been eating everything and anything and am not pleased to say that i have put on about 2 kilos :-(

Its not all lost and i am ok because i know that on Monday i am going to just claw my way back to gym and healthy eating and get my mind back again, so anyone out there who feels like encouraging me back into health again please GO AHEAD :-)

Well thats a little about whats happening here in this head, heres to life, friendships and pets that are just not pets at all but brothers and sisters in fur!

God Bless you all

Inspired

Hello My faithful and now patient readers

I have been absent from my blogging for a while and to be honest i have been absent from my mind, my exercise and my fitness journey, basically i fell off the wagon...

But good news is i am back and i am back with a vengeance!!

Here is a bit of inspiration for you all and for myself, i listened to a Christian weight loss coach called Jonathan Conneely and boy did he turn my attitude around, here is a bit about what i learnt and i believe if you get it, and then DO IT, it will change your life

Be Blessed, be inspired, START TODAY!

This is me back on track taking my boys for a walk every morning on a roll at the moment, praise God.

In order to achieve WEIGHT LOSS we need to do something.

We need to Create a new vision for your physical body, and that starts in our mind.

MINDSET- we need to develop a new mindset, and this is how we do it.

We need to ask ourselves a question that question is very important it is:

What is it that I want and WHY do I want that thing that I desire so badly?

I know for me

I want to be fit for my kids so I can run after them and keep up with them as they get fitter and faster, i have two boys!

I want to love myself again, because right now i sure dont and that is not healthy for my loved ones and definitely not healthy for me.

I want to be a role model for my children and to look good for my husband and myself.

I want to live a life of fitness and health and not sickness and depression.

Write who you are

For me

I am strong and courageous

I am a winner

I am in charge of my body

Here is an insight into someone who believed before he achieved, this is a great example of how we need to think in our minds to make this weight loss journey a reality-

"I am the greatest, I said it before I knew I was. I figured if I said it enough I would convince the world that I really was the greatest -Muhammad Ali

We need to create The winning MESSAGE in our minds and in our hearts.

It is very important to RECREATE A YES ENVIRONMENT.
YES i can
YES i will
YES today is the day

You have to CONVINCE YOURSELF that you can and you have to Speak as if you already have it.

Faith comes by hearing, start hearing the right things, one good place to hear the right things is from the word of God-

Mark 11:23 Truly, i say to you, whoever says to THIS mountain, be taken up and thrown in to the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

2corinth 4:13 Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written , "i believed, and so i spoke", we also believe, and so we also speak.

Create Your winning confession, talk to yourself everyday in a positive winning way.

Next we need to do something physically to keep us on track:

1. Write your vision and make it plain,
2. Then claim it and put in three places that you will see everyday and CLAIM it out loud every day and start to see it.
3. Start to see yourself there.

Think, speak and act as if you already have it!!

Take your I AM and your I WILL statements and write them into a mantra or vision for yourself to claim everyday till the vision becomes you and who you are.

Win before you win, think, speak and  act as if you are already there.

Then you have got to Act!

Act by Creating winning Movement.

YOU HAVE TO DO IT EVEN WHEN YOU DONT FEEL LIKE DOING IT!!

Get comfortable being Uncomfortable!

We may never feel like getting up early to exercise or choosing the healthy meal option over the non healthy meal but if we always do what we always did we will get what we always got...

Michael Jordan once said when asked how he got so good "I demanded more out of of myself ON A DAILY BASIS than ANYONE HUMANLY POSSIBLE could ever demand out if me!" That is the winning mindset.

The law of winning - commit and lock in the small simple discipline things that you can change and that You can do every single day to win.
Just make a choice everyday to change something small, so if you want to say it is too windy to walk, change that and say IM GOING not matter what, small choices that will get you there!
Do this so that when you lay your head on the pillow at night you can ask yourself did I win or lose today?

If you want something you've never had you have to do something you've never done!!

Commitment takes courage.

Take a stand, burn the fear that stops you, burn the doubt, burnt he uncertainty take a stand!!

Not someday I will
No NOT someday I will

YOUR SOMEDAY IS TODAY!!

Hebrews 12:11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

God Bless Y'all

Reflection

Im missing Africa, I'm missing the smells, the freedom of my youth, the family, the beauty, the food, the african sea, the joy in my heart for that place...

The reflection of the day is live in the moment, savour it, Fully engage in it, really cherish it, even the mundane moments...

Because one day you will be wishing for that moment

God Bless y'all

Exhausted

Hello Faithful readers
Boy am i tired today, far out, for the last two nights i have been doing cake stuff and have been up till 12pm and then 1am, ridiculous i know, but i do enjoy it but really at that time of the night i am just dead tired!!

So i must tell you i feel like i am slipping back with my exercise, my babies have both been unwell lately, its been about 4 or 5 weeks now with them bouncing this cold, flu and cough thing between each other and now the little man is screaming in pain constantly unless I'm carrying him and tugging at his ears, so i took him to dr and it turns out that he has ear infections in both ears poor wee man, so i just feel like i have no motivation for anything but survival in this house right now.

Another thing clutter is taking over my life, we live in a small 3x1 house and now with two babies and christmas just gone the toys are multiplying so is my stuff with my various hobbies as well as hubbies bits and pieces and honestly there is just stuff everywhere this house is turning into a bit of a hoarders paradise EEEK...
That alone gets me down and makes me unmotivated to do much, any tips on cleaning this place up??!!??
Please
Its just that everything seems useful, or sentimental or just needed for "one day" in one capacity or another, it all just makes me unmotivated...

So yes i need to get back onto the healthy bandwagon asap because I'm slipping and i don't like it, i really want to go to spin class tomorrow i hope Jesse is well enough because he screams blue murder at creche even when he is well id hate to see him in there in pain!

Speaking of which he is crying right now, id better attend, ill be back...
Back, poor boy hope he sleeps well

Anyway thats my rant, i might need some encouragement so hit me up people.

God Bless y'all

Come ALIVE

Hello Faithful readers

Todays reflection is that you have got to get yourself a hobby that you totally love, it makes you come ALIVE!

I have discovered that i love baking and decorating cupcakes, i can sit there for hours with my paintbrushes, edible glue, fondant and various other contraptions and just tinker away and it really brings my soul to life (Those sparkly ruby hearts are a creation i produced tonight).

A hobby that you love will take you to a place of happiness, creativity and energy.

I am grateful that i get to pursue mine and look forward to hearing what hobbies you lot have found yourself into, so write a comment to  me I'm hanging out to hear all about how it makes you feel.

Here is another pic of a creation i did for a project i have for tomorrow, after the cupcakes are done and decorated ill post a pic

God Bless y'all

Grateful

Hello faithful readers
Dishes Hey...
Yes the infamous pile of dishes after i am done in the kitchen.
My mom keeps saying "every time you use something wash it straight away that way you don't have a giant pile at the end", and that is very good advice in theory but i am yet to master that skill... Unfortunately i am rubbish at doing each thing as i use it, hence i am staring at a huge pile of dishes at the end and i do not look forward to cleaning them EVER!!

It got me thinking somehow about the fact that we have food on our table three times a day and sometimes more often than that, and then it got me thinking about how i was cleaning the backyard the other day and when i opened the bin to put rubbish in it i was assaulted with the most horrific smell, it was completely putrid...

That then got me thinking about the poor children and unfortunate folk out there that actually dig through the rubbish at the dumps to find something to eat, and i thought about how they would be wading through smells about 10x worse than my backyard bin, also trod-ding through broken glass and many a hazardous item to get something edible.

I then got to thinking of how grateful i am for those dishes in the sink because those dishes mean freedom from that life, those dishes mean i live a very privileged life, those dishes symbolise what a blessed and fortunate life i have been given and i am truly grateful.

God is good

lets remember to be grateful, even for the things that don't seem like they are a blessing at the time

Take time to reflect, take time to be thankful and take time to thank God for what he has blessed us with

God Bless Y'all
